www.thebestbusinessdirectory.co.uk (new work)
Progress have been working on a new website to accompany a business directory covering glasgow and east dunbartonshire.
We are using a Content Management System with a business directory.
www.kitchens-glasgow.org (new work)
My work for kitchens-glasgow has mostly concerned search engine optimisation and online marketing.
After a analysis of their original website, I decided to pick the business's key service and build a new website based around that.
www.ewich.co.uk
I have worked with ewich guesthouse for around three years. The work that I have performed for them has included search engine optimisation, flash design, website design, and web site copywriting.
www.dyslexiaservices.co.uk
(down for maintenance)
I installed a JOOMLA content management solution for this client. The website can be regularly updated by the client in a similar manner to accessing an internet email account like yahoo mail. A username and password are required. Once given, the web user is taken to a control panel where they can add news and update pages.
www.agiftcardfromme.com
This recently completed e-commerce website allows the client to sell his greeting and birthday cards over the internet. The website allows users to upload their own pictures. They are then charged for a number of cards in either A5 or A6 format.
The site is fast loading and uses semantic HTML and web standards. The payment gateway used is PayPal. Custom code is written in PHP.
www.fireofficers.org.uk
I have worked with the fire officers for some time now assisting with programming in ASP (Microsoft Active Server Pages) and Microsoft SQL Server as well as javascript and php. Their website required a mailing solution which would allow the management team to communicate with website members. The website also includes a number of forms which allowed users to join the union.
As time has gone on the fire officers now design the appearance of the website themselves, while I remain commited to assisting with back-end work when required.
